It’s a dog’s life…

Nothing but the tooth…

It all started with some wisdom tooth-ache the other day, which I think is a sign to pack the job in and (once again) venture into the very grown up world of self-employment.  About a year ago I was working for the same National Institution (NHS to be precise), and a 3 day bout of wisdom tooth-ache prompted me to leave and start an interior design company, which proved to be very profitable.  After almost a year, a family crisis meant I had to give it all up and rejoin the 8-5 masses.

Having now been employed by the good ol' Negligible Health Shambles (NHS) for long enough (6 weeks), and with refreshed motivation (and toothache), I am once again ready to take a leap into the unknown and start up my very own tea importing emporium!

No, seriously…

I can’t believe it’s not bollocks!

Amid this whole torrent of new blogs popping up left, right and centre, I have decided to clean up my act, abandon my previous attempt at a blog elsewhere, and start afresh here.

Poetically enough, I feel that’s exactly what’s happening with my life.  If only changing your life was as easy as changing your blog!  Abandon one and set up a new one.  In life, however, little things like credit card debts and the taxman tend to follow you onto your new chosen lifestyle.  Maybe I should change my name.

Things have happened in my life, both over the years and very recently, to make me realize I need to re-invent myself.  The old me just doesn’t cut it anymore, and before becoming obsolete by the time I hit 30 in October, I am re-packaging this dead horse and will start taking things seriously for a change.

Well, I’ll be serious most of the time…

Perhaps when I’m sober.

Maybe… ;-)

Let there be… bones!

It's going to be hard work getting in the mood to start a new blog, but I must start this new life of mine somewhere, and a House of sin…erm, I mean Tequila, is no place to see things with a clear head.

This is why I have decided to come back as a dog.  I mean, dogs have it all don't they?  Unless you're a dog in China…  or certain parts of Liverpool, from what I've heard.
